PBS Partner - ILR

Post by ILR4WIFE » Wed Aug 22, 2018 2:22 pm

Hello,

i have few question regarding my wife ILR

1- her first visa issue on 05/11/2013 (tier 1 general partner); came to UK on 14/01/2014 extended her visa as PBS dependent expires 11/05/2019, what is the earliest i can apply for her ILR?

2- she has b-com (2 year degree) from Karachi University is this enough for her proof of English, has anyone done a naric for b-com from KU? and got accepted?

3- i believe i can apply for her BC straight after the ILR is this correct?

thank you in advance

1. Likely within 28 days of date of entry as she entered quite a bit later than visa issue date.

2. She needs UKVI Red Route NARIC - English assessment AND comparable to UK degree assessment. Costs £150, same as the B1 English test. She also needs LIUK test.

3. Yes if she meets the 3 year residence requirement to apply as spouse of BC.

i have read few cases here were applicant has applied for ILR 28 days before the visa issue date, is this something not applicable for my wife case?

is there a possibility to know before applying that the NARIC will accept my wife degree/university?

ok

Yes, date of visa issue can be used and you can try that, but not many have applied (that I have seen) with more than 2 months between visa issue and entry to the UK.

You would need to contact NARIC or look at their website.

Identical same name and surname used in both email addresses with two different email providers. Clearly your posts as all seem relevant to Tier 1 General plus dependent and your ILR in 2016.
