Hi All,

Anyone with 22 to 23 points in Aug 2018 as new entrant?
And got the RCOS approved?
Please advise how this works for new entrants.(Im on a tier 4 visa currently but cannot switch inside the UK as mine is a professional qualification with the home office do not recognise)

As I am aware RCOS has been granted at 30 points in Aug 18 but this is for experienced workers and no details on the forum for new entrants ie under age 25

There is no prvilllege given to under 25 apart from the minimum salary qualification which is set at 21k for people below 26 years age whereas for others it's 30k.

30 below should gi through next month and we still don't have the cut off for this month the last reported approval was at 30k.

Finally, after struggling almost a year, my RCoS REJECTED!!!

very much disappointing and disturbing because this is the first time HO reviewed our application and documents and now they say they are not satisfied.!!

After applying for last 10 months with the same details and after sending documents almost 4 times so far, why HO could not tell us this earlier!!!

Really shameful that we can't even challenge such a poorly managed system. I have been in this queue for last 12 months and others are getting alway with certificates.. lost trust on HO system now!!!

How many points you had? May be you could suggest to your sponsor to use different solicitor?

My colleague has 38pts (non-everything) and is still waiting, although HR said they'd been asked for information 'weeks ago' (and hadn't mentioned that to us... ) and sent it immediately. Have there been any acceptances for people who had to submit extra info, or is that causing a delay for a lot of people?

Yes I'm 38k, HO ask for more information at 3/8 and send out on 4pm 10/8 which is before the deadline 17/8 but before the meeting date(of cause Aug meeting date is 13/8). Still waiting. Just worry will be the same situation like this member, that will only consider on next following months.

If the results were posted at 4pmish, does that mean all the answers (yes or no) will currently be on the portal for the lawyers to see? Even though we checked at 3pm and it still said 'pending'?

According to this internal Home Office document (Page 13 & 14), if a HO staff member is satisfied that an application is valid (before allocation), it will show as 'pending'. If it has not been proven valid, it will show as 'under review'. So, it would logically follow that for those people who had extra info requested, and their applications were showing 'pending' this morning, that they should have been accepted if above 21pts? https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... 2.0ext.pdf

Wow. Not only has it gone back to 21 points there are still close to 2000 RCoS for September! I thought there were meant to be less after August?

Can RCOS once issued be changed? Like maintenance funds related etc. Or new RCOS has to be issued?

It can't be changed but employer can mention this kind of stuff in cos notes.
