Getting paid by umbrella company whilst on Tier2 visa

Post by Damade » Wed Aug 29, 2018 11:24 am

Hello everyone,
I am a Medical doctor on Tier2 General visa. I had a locum shift recently and I learnt the hospital only pays through a Paye Umbrella company. Is it legal for me to get paid by an umbrella company whilst on tier2 visa?

No, it is considered 'contracting' as umbrella company work is not PAYE.
