Forget about what you read on the internet. I had also been invited today to attend the ceremony on the 10th of September in DUBLIN. It is held in the National Concert Hall in D2.
Best of luck to everyone.
Brilliant! Congrats!!! Can you share with us if you received your approval before or after the previous ceremony which was in May? Many thanks!!!
I applied last October, got the passport back withing a few days and a second stage letter in February.
On the 17th of April i rang them looking for an update. I was told on the phone that they were waiting for a garda clearance report and that my file will be submitted soon. I asked if there was a way of me making into the May's ceremony and i was told "no".
I got home from work ON THE VERY SAME DAY and my approval was sitting in the letter box. They got the payment on April 18th, but i wasnt included in May's ceremony.
I sent them an e-mail at the end of July, telling them how my husband and i haven't been able to book our honeymoon as i've been waiting for their dates all summer and that they shouldn't expect people to put their lives on hold ( i know they don't care, i was a bit annoyed) and i got a reply saying that the next one could be Sept. If not it ll be Nov at latest.
I know i had a easier process than others here, but don't waste your time trying to guess what they ll do next...
Thanks so much for sharing!!! 🤗

My wife has just received her invitation to the 10 September ceremony in the National Concert Hall in Dublin. By way of the background, she applied in April 2017, and received her approval on the 29th of May this year. Good luck to everyone who is waiting!

That's great news to everybody who got their invitation letter! Did you guys receive your approvals recently or have you been waiting for a long time?

Just hope there's a new ceremony in November and they update their website :?

Hi Guys,

I have been reading all your messages so far to see if you guys have an update about the date for the next citizenship ceremony.

I was invited for the one in May but I missed it because I was on holidays.

I am confirming to you guys that I have received my invitation letter last week, I am invited for the next ceremony that will be held on the 10.09.2018 in the National Concert Hall.

I am so happy about it, I have been waiting for this since May.

I wish you guys all the best, your invitation is on the way :)

I have a question though, please anyone of you can help me if you know. Can you please confirm whether we are allowed to travel without the IRP card.

My family bought tickets for me to travel to France this week and I am not sure whether it is safe to leave the country even though on my passport its mentioned my stamps 4 visa which expire next year same as my re entry visa plus my citizenships invitation ceremony letter.

Do you think, immigration officer at airport will accept these information to let me get back in the country.

I have contacted all authorities but as you know they never get back to you these people.

You could be waiting an eternity with them for an answer.

Thank you Guys.

Have a wonderful and bless day ahead.

Regards,
Laura

travel with your approval letter and invitation letter
most people have done this in past and shared their experience here you can still find post here they had no issue.

btw if I was you I wouldn't travel lets say I don't like taking any risk no matter how small they are if I can avoid them.

thanks

Hi Mal111,

Thanks for replying :)

I will go to immigration later this evening to confirm with them even though I know they might not even receive me but will give a try.

I have been told as well not to take the risk by mostly everyone so I will see what they say to me and will take a decision accordingly :)

Will give you an update.

Stay bless.
Laura

maybe they are doing two ceremony a small one in Dublin in sept and yet to confirm the date of big one in nov or dec 2018.

again they only oblige to inform the date and place of ceremony to applicants who are invited.
just because they publish ceremony date on website in past not necessarily means they have a legal obligation.

these days they are very unpredictable and unfortunately their is nothing you or me can do about it.

Dear xxxxxxxx.....

The September is ceremony is a small ceremony & is already fully subscribed
to. Your documents have been received and you will be scheduled to attend a
future Citizenship Ceremony. There are no dates set for any future
Ceremonies yet. It may be 2-3 months before you are invited to a future

Team 4
Now I m 100% confirmed..

Thank you so much for doing this! Probably they won't update their website or only when it's close to the ceremony. But, as they said, there will be one in 2-3 months. I'd say it will happen in November. We just have to wait & see. Hopefully, I'll be invited to the November one as well.

Hi all.
Got my approval today (subject to paying 950e, sending gnib etc)
Letter states to send everything in the next 10 days if I want to be included into the next ceremony

My biggest concern:
Current gnib is valid till 5 November 2018
The letter says that gnib needs to be valid on the date of ceremony.
What should I do if they want me to send everything in the next 10 days?
And do you think they consider including me to the ceremony of 10 September?

Thanks all!!
