Got a call - Home office?

Hi folks,
I have still not received my flrm application decision after 8 weeks and I m really getting worried.
My husband got a call from unknown number today in the morning (saturday) which he was unable to attend. I was worried if he has received the call from the home office. My husband also received the call 2 weeks ago on Saturday from Sheffield (land line number) which he was unable to attend.
I am not sure if home office has called him. They haven't left any voice message.
Do anyone contacted by home office ? Is this something of concern?

It could be from HO but the funniest thing that they don't leave voice message or contact by email or post based on common sense that someone is sleeping/working/driving. Only option might be to call/email them to inquire as whether have they called you.

I did call them but the number was not enabled for taking calls. Anyone came across the situation when their visa is rejected just because they didn't answer the call.

They may reject some people if they cannot verify something that's material.
