Spouse visa earnings dilemma!

Post by Brainy » Mon Sep 03, 2018 12:12 pm

Dear all
First of all I would thanks to this forum which helps a lot of people saving money and offers great help . Could anyone help us with this problem .

My wife is on spouse visa which is due to be expired on 27/10/18.
She has been working on Nhs @salry of 15500/year till February 2018 however she resigned her job and got another job in same organisation At NHs from april @ 39000/year salary.

Till sept 25th 2018 ,she would have earning almost 18000. I was wonder if we can show one or two previous payslips from her previous job at Nhs (Jan and Feb) ?

Or should we wait for her to get oct payslip on new Job at Nhs she will have 6 Months on new Job and would have made 18600 till 25/01/18?

If less then 6 months on new Job is there anyway we can show her 5 moths salary (about 18k) and one previous pays at pervious Job February payslip of 1100)? As it will meet all 18600 from Feb-sept.
I would highly appreciate if somone help us out here . And apologose if this question already asked before .

You can apply under CAT B as she currently has a salary of more than £18,600 AND in the previous 12 months has earned more than £18,600 from ALL employments. You'll need to provide bank statements and payslips for past 12 months.

Or you can wait 1 more month to reach 6 months for CAT A.

Thank you london007. Very clear reply .if we apply under cat A
She started her new Job on 12/04/18
Her first payslip was on 24/04 & the 6th payslip would
Be 24/09/18. So we will have 6 payslips by 24/9.

But she will have 6 months by 12/10/18 as she started On 12/04/18. Can we still apply just after getting 6 payslips or do we have to wait for till she acutually has 6 Months period with the employer .
She will have about 19,000 salary(24/04/18 - 24-09-18)
By sept .

She needs to be in employment for at least 6 months previous to application date to fulfil CAT A requirement.

So apply after 24/10 to fulfil CAT A.

Shouldn't that be apply after 12/10, because that would be 6 months with the current employer.
It's not 6 months from the first pay slip is it?

How can she apply on 12th if paylslips are issued around 24th of month... safer to apply afterwards than before

Thanks all for your input . It’s cleared now for me . For cat A she has to apply after 12/10/18 as she will have more than 6 months with the employer with 6 months payslips . Cat B she can Apply as she already has 19k plus earnings /year and current salary package is over 18600 .
We will be (perhaps ) applying under cat b and will update you once received the visa
Thanks again
