Yes you can apply after 6 months of employment. The qualifying amount for minimum annual income is taken as gross earnings before tax and NIC deductions.Dylan997 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 1:25 pmHey! I am new here and i have some questions
Im british and im married to a mexican. I stadt work on October 1st 2018 and i will be earning £19000 a year which is £1,358 (after tax).
My question is after 6 months being employed, can i apply for the spouse visa? Or would i need to earn more than £1,358 per month after tax?
Best

My partner is Mexican so she does not need a visa but we are going to get her a spouse visa but my 6th month pay check will be march.
She needs to leave February but is it possible for her to stay at all to apply for the spouse visa in March? Otherwise I will have to apply outside of the UK.
