As per a lot members no need of appendix 2 but printed VAF4A form is mandatory along with passport, application & IHS payment receipt and biometrics appointment letter. No harm in carrying few passport sized photographs despite they can take themselves too.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

UK Spouse Visa - Appendix 2 Query

Post by Babajee85 » Tue Sep 04, 2018 3:01 pm

3.22 is not relevant to you, because in 3.12 you answered your sponsor has been employed with same employer for the last 6 months.
HI guys,

I have almost the same question:

I got increment into my pay three months ago....So now my salary is 35K and before it was 30K..

So In last six months its 30k for three months and then 35k from the latest three months.
I am with the same employer from last 5 years

How should i answer the question 3.12 (Appendix 2) and subsequent questions , please advise.

Thanks

You put down whatever the salary was 6 months ago if you are applying under CAT A. So in your case if 6 months have not passed since salary increase you put the old 30k because your old payslips will be indicating that salary.

You can write that you got a salary increase in your employment letter.

Thanks Londoner007....Let me explain my situation in more details as below::

Salary From 1st May 2017 till 30th April 2018 = 30K
From 1st May 2018 onward : 35K (Increment)
DATE APPLICATION SUBMITTED ONLINE:19 August 2018

So i am submitting the latest 6 pay slips = Feb 2018 - Jul 2018...(which is mix of before increment and after increment). Now please advise how should i answer the question 3.11 & 3.12 (Appendix 2) and subsequent questions

I am confused what salary to put there because i am workings with the employer from last 5 years..I am applying with Cat A because i am permanent salaried employee.

The question is as below :
Has your sponsor been in employment with the same employer and earning the amount, as detailed in 3.11 above,
continuously for 6 months prior to the date of the application? (Category A)

You are relying on 30K salary - as advised make sure employment letter mentions the salary increase from 1st May.

Both the amounts are over £18,600 anyway.

Thanks bro for your input....So it means i will answer the questions as below :

3.11 What is your sponsor’s annual income from this employment before tax? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>30K
3.12 Has your sponsor been in employment with the same employer and earning the amount, as detailed in 3.11 above,
continuously for 6 months prior to the date of the application?
(Category A) YES or NO

But i am confused with the wording which says; has been earning the amount as detailed in 3.11 above cont for six months...But i did not earn same amount for six months instead earned 35K for the latest three months ....So what should i answer YES or NO. ??? :(

Secondly can you please advise , as my wife is applying with my daughter as dependent , so do i need to fill Appendix 1 for my daughter and obviously Appendix 2 for my wife.

I am confused about my daughter Appendix , does she need one or not at all ; only need one for wife ? Please advise.

*List of Appendices:
Appendix 1 - Children / Other Dependants
Appendix 2 - Spouse / Partner
Appendix 4 - Pre-flight family members of Refugees
Appendix 5 - Access Rights to Child

Thanks a lot !

It's yes to both.

You fill in Appendix 2 for the child too - unless they have British Passport already

Hi ,

My spouse has attended the bio-metric appointment now on 6th Sept 2018.Can you please advise me :

How many days i have got now to send the supporting documents to Sheffield ?

Do i need to send the application form again with the supporting documents even though my wife took for the biometic appointment and hope so they have already scanned it.

Thanks

Hi Londoner007,

i was reading the Appendix 1 (for my daughter) which says :

YOU SHOULD COMPLETE THIS FORM IF YOU WISH TO COME TO THE UK AS:
• The adult dependant relative of a person who is present and settled in the UK; or
• The adult dependant relative of a person with limited leave to enter or remain in the UK as a refugee or as the beneficiary of humanitar- ian protection; or
• The child of settled parents or with one parent who has limited leave as a partner or parent granted under the Rules in force before 9 July 2012.
IF YOU ARE NOT COMING TO THE UK UNDER ONE OF THESE CATEGORIES, YOU ARE COMPLETING THE WRONG APPENDIX.

As it says The child of settled parents while in my case i am the only one who is settled (British) and wife is applying for spouse visa....So my daughter is not qualifying for any above reason ..

So do you still think i should complete Appendix 1...or should i complete the Appendix 2 for my daughter as well...So one for my wife and one for my daughter...Just for your information my daughter is 7 years old so under 18..

please advise.

Thx

Post by Babajee85 » Sun Sep 09, 2018 4:37 pm

Hello Friends ,

Spouse Visa Online Application Submission Date = 18th August 2018
Bio-metric Appointment Date = 6th Sept 2018

I am submitting the Payslips and statements from (1st Feb till 31st July 2018)

I am submitting the online bank statements and bank stamped each and every page of the statements.
The problem is : The date with the Stamp is 25th August 2018. because i went to bank on that day.

Will it cause any issue because their dated stamp is after application online submission date....Please advise.

Note : Salary slips and Employer Letter is Dated 10th August 2018

2 weeks from bio-metrics for priority application.
4 weeks from bio-metrics for non-priority application.

Send everything to Sheffield within those times.

Payslip stamp date is fine.

The child is the dependent of your spouse and not you, nor does your spouse already have any form of leave - Appendix 2 needed.

The following are required from your wife and child:

2 x VAF4A online application
2 x Appendix 2
2 x IHS payment
