Hi there,
One of my friend is on Tier 1 entrepreneur visa and running his business as management consultancy. Along with his main company, he wants to start a security company as well. My question is.

- CAN HE OPERATE SECURITY COMPANY ON CERTAIN SCALE WITHOUT GETTING IT APPROVED IN S.I.A APPROVED CORPORSTES LIST. ???

It is a regulated industry, a license is needed.

He already have his SIA BADGE after getting his security company registered with companies house. Now he wants to know if he can start his business on low scale without initiating SIA approved corporate registration.

This has nothing to do with immigration rules. The T1E visa allows him to do as many businesses as he wants as long as they are legal and meet all the regulatory requirements.

In the UK and as per Immigration rules, it is required that you follow the law. If the law says some approval/certificate is required to do a business, they must obtain it. This is NOT specific to Tier 1E rules. This forum ONLY deals with questions regarding Tier 1E specific rules and requirements
