I've not ask them anything tbh, I read that if they taking too long we can speak to our local Council and that they can intervene and write on an individual behalf.

@WifeofAking Have you applied through Solicitor or by yourself? And Have they asked you DNA and if yes What date. Local TD's send letters to ask update and they mostly get same reply that it is under Process.

@newstylee
No I didnt6go tro solicitor, I did it. And no they've not ask for DNA.

When I Applied in Sept they acknowledge, after that they send about 3 to 4 letters at different dates and the final letter I got from them was in Dec 2017 asking me to send in my national passport for verification which I did and as usual they acknowledge it 2days after. And that was it. Nothing back from them since then.

They can take their time but my only fear is they should not lost my passport and my child's original birth certificate.

@wifeofaking Why they ask you Original passport, Because We sent Scanned copies of all Pages of our passport and Original Berth cert. of Child. And They still have your Original Passport for that long.

Can you please read through 'wifeofking' very lengthy topic where all the details are contained instead of asking for the same info again.

@mark_ir NO anything mark, I even asked my Solicitor go for Court and he said cannot go to court until decision not come Positive, I talk to some one with similar case of my own, they also waiting from last 14-15 months, Have you speak to your solicitors and taken his advise. We have to reach on resolution if they are not giving decisions and make life hell, we should go to court, no point of waiting 2 years.
