Extension approved after long time

Post by ranjhakhtar » Sat Sep 22, 2018 6:19 pm

Thanks to Allah and with guidance of my solicitor my extension has been approved.
This is my first post in this forum but i was getting information from it for quite a long time. I need some further information for ILR, so hopefully respected members will guide me. Timeline is as follow:
Initial visa expiry date: 03/09/2017.
Extension applied: 08/08/2017.
Bio done: 19/08/2017
Complex letter: 27/08/17.
Ihs partial refund: 13/04/2018.
Second complex letter: 27/06/2018.
Approval letter with doc: 18/09/2018
BRP received: 21/09/2018.
My ten years are completing on 08/08/2020. I want to know if i go for ilr with 5 years of tier 1 enterpreneur then what is the early date for me to go with this scenerio. 1 full time employe is working since 01/04/2018. And two part time employes are working since 01/09/2017. Second full time employe has started on 01/09/2018. From which date i can count the hours of jobs. Also can i count two part time employes as one full time.
Also i have two dependants. Does my wife and daughter (born in UK) also need to apply at the same time with my application.
Thanks.

When did you apply for your initial visa ? When was it granted ?

If you meet the employment requirements (which will be counted from the date your extension was granted), you could apply 28 days before qualifying for the 5 year ILR route (upto 28 days before 03/09/2019).

You can apply for your 5 yr ILR 28 days before 03/09/2019. You would need to have two jobs of 12 months each at the time of application.

You can count jobs from 12 months before your application date (if you apply before 18/9/2018) OR from 18/9/2018 (if you apply after 18/9/2018).

If your wife has completed 5 years, then your wife can apply with you. Otherwise she needs to wait to complete 5 years.

If you plan to take British citizenship for your daughter, you can wait for your ILR and then register for her citizenship without applying to ILR
