Settlement visa for wife question pls

Received this email today

"With regards to your enquiry about the status of your application, I can confirm that we have now completed all our actions and your case has been closed"

What does this actually mean?
Has anyone else had this email and what happened following that?

You will know when you get the passport.

It seem strange not to get a simple yes or no. My wife will go to get her passport and it will jubilation or heartbreak.

Has anyone else got any other info to add please?
The suspense is killing me. I haven't the heart to tell her its a I don't know until you open the passport and find a visa or not.

Nothing to add - it just means they have concluded the application. It can either be an approval or refusal.
They will never tell you what the outcome is, its their policy.
