Foreign Birth Registration Cancellation or Form Reprint Help

Hi guys

Hoping you can help!!

Recently made my FBR application online having all documents in place and thinking that I had a solicitor who would witness my form signing.

Arrive at solicitors and he duly certifies copy of my passport and then we move onto the form.

I sign and then he reads the info re knowing for 2 years etc(after already confirming on phone that could sign!) and says that he cant sign!!

So now I obviously have a paid for application with ref number but a form that is already signed ad dated 1/10/18!! Struggling to get anyone else to be able to sign and Im off on travels until January next week(wanted to get the application in prior to departure obv due to the time it takes!).

Searched all over the FBR/Citizenship website and done numerous Google searches(how I found you guys!) but cant for the life of me find where I can either reprint my form or cancel my application to get a refund and apply when I return from travels! Ive found the track passport application section but when I put y FBR ref in there it coes up with an error as I guess this is the wrong section and invalid ref for a passport application!!

Any clues or pointers pls?

Call or email your local Irish embassy - they should be able to email you a pdf of your application or issue a refund. FBR is entirely separate from the passport offices.

Done already!! Finally got through after hours of it being engaged to get a recorded message saying that couldnt speak to anyone!! Sent email 3 days ago and nothing back yet!!
