Hi guys,
I’m also waiting for my review decision and it’s been now 13 months and still waiting. One of my friend got refusal after 14 months and he went for judicial review and got the stamp.
my son was born here, he’s now 20 months old so my question is any other application on the behalf of my son. Much appreciate

Hello brother, thanks for your reply. Im also waiting since 27 July 2017.
Can you please share how long did it take in Judicial review for your friend?
On what basis his review was refused?
And what was his case like parents/brother/sister or spouse?

As per my information (one of my friends told me) if your son is born here and you had a legal status here then you can apply on his behalf otherwise its still difficult. But i would highly suggest you to get an advice from a good solicitor.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Question: My child was born in Ireland. Can I apply for an Irish passport for her?

Since 1st January 2005 every child born in Ireland is not automatically an Irish citizen. The residency of the child’s parents is taken into consideration. If neither of the parents is an Irish citizen then at least one of the parents must have 3 years’ reckonable residency before the child was born. Reckonable residency generally includes Stamp 1, Stamp 3, Stamp 4 and Stamp 5.

The same applies to EEA citizen parents. They must be able to prove that they have been resident in the State for 3 years or more before the birth of their child. They must also sign a declaration to confirm this in the presence of an authorised witness.

What happens if the eu parents have 3years+ residence in Ireland but not work all the 3 years. Will the child still qualify for irish passport.?

Hello brother, just wondering if you are still waiting to hear from them?
I have recently applied for EU1 for my elderly parents. INIS queried: why they came in C Visa and now applying for Residency. And gave them 6 months Stamp4. I am EU citizen and I am not too sure what is the chance for winning the case.
Any suggestion please let me know.

I am same situation like you 1 kid( eu citizen) partner(eu) is pregnant WAITED for 14 months (review application) now i got the letter that minister is thinking to refuse my application because of some contradictions in my asylum interview and the information i provided on eu1a form.
Because of that they think all the documents i submitted probably fake....
So you can see what they want to do with us.
My solicitor is preparing to take them to court.
