Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 ICT dependent

Hi everyone! My wife and I are currently on Tier 2 ICT Long Term visas, with different companies. My plan is the following:
1. Move from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 ICT dependent (under my wife’s visa).
2. Will I have to serve 12 months cooling off period outside UK Or can I work Immediately in UK on dependent visa?
3. Will I have to be on Tier 2 ICT dependent visa for a year before the other employer can sponsor my Tier 2 General visa?
4. Can other employer sponsor my Tier 2 General visa from Tier 2 ICT dependent visa?

1. Fine, you can switch within the UK. You will need to inform your employer when you get your new visa and BRP card.

2. Cooling off period does NOT apply to PBS Dependents. You can stay in the UK an d continue to work.

3. You need to hold a PBS Dependent visa for the full 12 months before you can apply for Tier 2 General from your home country.

4. Yes, but you have to apply with a Restricted CoS from your home country if you can get a sponsor.

1.1 Do I need to cancel my current tier 2 ICT visa before applying for dependent visa(On my wife's ICT)
1.2 Do I need to go back to my home country to apply for dependent visa and come back to UK after getting my new dependent visa

1.1 Your ICT will be cancelled automatically IF your dependent visa is granted. DO NOT cancelled or inform your employer about your plans until your have your new visa and BRP card in hand.
