I have emailed the Citizenship Department, they have told me on 18th September 2018 that “Your application is currently in a queue waiting to be allocated to a caseworking team.”

Therefore it prooves that there is no link between
Passport Money Withdrawal from the Account, Money is taken by a different department for passport, and citizenship application is reviewed by diffrent team. Money taken for passport has no link with citizenship application approval.

One More thing i have found reading all the application cases that, People from European Union , there Application is approved much
Quicker than other nationalities.

Posted the passport as a proof of evidence of residence for the period requested. I posted using royal mail recorded first class. Unfortunately the post is still not delivered and tomorrow is the last day for the passport to be with home office. Royal mail suggested that the mail would have been lost in transit and I can now claim £50 refund. Well for me it's a disaster. I have send letter of employment as a backup from the dates requested, hopefully it will enough. Though I can say for sure that this postal delivery issue has made my case extremely conplex.

Received my documents back today(15th-10-18) from home office with a letter stating application has been successful. But advised not to book ceremony yet unless I receive a separate letter inviting for ceremony.

1st UPDATE

I contacted HMPO in order to guage the progress of my application. I was told that they received the passport application on the 30th August. The lady I spoke to says once the Home Office is through with their checks it's then passed to them. (Don't know how accurate this info is)

On the 7th September I received a letter stating that they were unable to process passport fee, so paid over the phone.

Praying that I'll be able to update with some good news soon.

Approval ☺after 2 months and a couple of weeks. The anxiety of waiting makes it feel like forever. Thanks to all the moderators and members who have contributed. I was able to complete 2 major applications to the Home Office, by myself with the help of the forum. God bless!
