Post-biometrics: additional action needed???

Post by ElMac94 » Wed Oct 17, 2018 4:23 pm

I am applying to register as a citizen by descent via form UKF. I mailed in my passport, birth certificates, etc. at the time I lodged my application. On Monday I went to a USCIS office per my emailed instructions and completed my biometrics. The USCIS office gave me a pre-printed letter from UKVI (not specifically addressed to me or my application) saying I had five days to post my passport, financial documents, biometrics receipt, etc. to UKVI. However, the agent processing me also said my biometrics were being emailed to UKVI. I emailed UKVI to see what I needed to do but have heard nothing back. I'm not sure specifically what I'm meant to post or do. Has anyone else encountered this??

Nothing you need to do after enrolling biometrics. Now you just wait.

Excellent, thanks very much. That's what I assumed but wanted to be sure; I'm not sure why USCIS defaults to providing confusing instructions counter to what UKVI has told me directly.
