Hi All,
I am writing on behalf of my friend who is going to apply for naturalization next month.
He has got a new passport a week or so ago but his child somehow managed to tear it apart. He went to his embassy and applied for a new one and gave the damaged one to them.
He said the old one he has is still vaild for another 6 months so once he will get this new replacement passport there will be no gap between the old and new one. He also said he didnt travel with that passport as got it just a week ago. I asked if he has photocopies of that damaged one but he said he doesn't.
Does he need to declare in the naturalization application form that he has got a passport but it was damaged after a week so he got another one or this is not relevant as he didnt travel and had that passport for one week and doesn't have photocopies? Thanks.
