Apply for FM/QP at the same time

Post by gusavancini » Fri Oct 19, 2018 3:22 pm

Hi there!

First sorry if this question was made before, but i didn't found nothing, so lets go;

Actually I'm married with a italian citizen that lives in UK since 1 year ago, I am brazilian and we got married last month, now I am in process to provide documents for my residence card application as FM. But I said to her apply for the residence card as well, my questions is:

I need her passport to apply for my residence card as FM, and she needs her passport to apply as QP as well, so in this case should we send both applications in the same mail pack to the Home Office? Cause the documents for both will be attached together I mean.

Thanks!
:D

These applications are sent to different addresses.

PR is to Durham

RC (FM) is usually posted to Liverpool

Yes - send the EEA (QP) and EEA (FM) applications together in a single pack. They both go to Durham.

The proves that I need to use for both as bank statements, employer letter, address proof, tenancy agreement... Should I put inside a plastic back in this mail pack?

I divided docs in simple clear plastic sleeves, divided by type of document: proof of residency, proof of identity, proof of work/exercising treaty rights, proof of continued residence after end of QP, covering letter.
I know other people sorted the documents in plastic sleeves, dividing them by year of exercising treaty rights, and another for 'Others'.
Keep it simple - HO specifically say they don't want people to send ringbinders or folders.
