Advice on filling form MN1

Post by Marikistin » Fri Oct 19, 2018 9:02 pm

Hello all,
back again with more questions...this time its for the MN1 application form.

Version:July 2018
Age of child on application: 13 years old
Non-EEA (BRP)(PR)

1.3 - we applied under EEA PR, do i need to put the date we acquire PR here?
1.6 - I have given my mobile number & email here, is it ok?
1.21-1.29 - Father's details: should i strike this all out or leave blank? there is no name/details of father on my daughters birth cert and details not known about the father
1.33-1.34 - is it correct that i dont need to fill this in as i have already filled 1.16?
1.36 - do i fill this with the same date as 1.3 , when we acquire our PR under EEA rules
1.39 - do i just leave blank as my husband is not my daughters father
1.40 - i ticked NO and left the rest blank, is it correct?
2.0 - i just put zero(0) on the total number of days of absent is that correct? we've never left the country.
Section 3 - leave blank cos application is under 3(1)?
6.21 - because the child is 13 am i the one who needs to sign this?
Section 7 Consent 7.1 - do i leave blank or strike?
7.3 - I stated in here that details and whereabouts of the father (biological) not known from child's birth to present (and i will be sending daughters birth certificate for proof), is this correct?
7.4, 7.5 - leave blank?
Section 8 Declaration 8.1 - Should this be my name or my daughter's?
8.6 and 8.9 not applicable to us, should i strike this out?

Again all help and inputs are greatly appreciated! and hopefully those filling up like me will be able to benefit on this post too.
Thanks all!

Char, please if you can see this and other senior members please help me thanks.

Also the fees, kindly please advise me if this is correct?

- I fill two separate Payment slip for my application (AN) and for my daughter's (MN1)?
- and are these the correct amounts? AN £1,330 + ceremony fee £80= £1,410
MN1 £1,012 + ceremony fee £80= £1,092.00

Thanks very much.

Thanks very much.
If you are sending them together, you can complete one payment form, listing the payments separately with names.

It is ONLY £1330 for form AN- The fee already includes the ceremony fee.

It is ONLY £1012. Children under 18 DO NOT attend a ceremony.

Are you reading the Guidance notes at all?? Most of your questions are answered in both the AN guidance notes and booklet and the MN1 guidance notes.

1.3 Yes.

1.6 No. 1.6 is NOT for your contact details. 1.5 is the childs surname. 1.6 are the other names, ie. first and second name.

1.21-1.29 Leave Blank

1.33-1.34 No. 1.6 is the CHILDS names. You need to complete 1.33-1.34

1.36 Yes, date you were granted PR.

1.39 Correct. Step parent is irrelevant to citizenship of child.

1.40 If you were not married then it is NO.

2.0 Fine.

Section 3 - Correct

6.21 Yes.

7.1 Leave blank.

7.3 Fine.

7.4-7.5 Yes

Section 8 - 8.1 Your name (as clearly stated on page 29 of the guidance notes).

8.6 & 8.9 Just ignore, don't strike out.

Kindly exercise patience. I was moving today and only on my mobile so did not have access to the MN1 form.
