Child born abroad for parents have ILR

Post by Jana2011 » Tue Oct 23, 2018 11:47 pm

Hi there

Me and my 8 years old daughter have been granted ILR since (Aug 2018) and now we are eligible to apply for naturalisation. But because of short of money I’d like to start with my daughter’s application only. Is that possible through form MN1 via SECTION 3 (1)

Apprecited your support with many thanks

They expect at least one parent to naturalise at the same time as child’s registration.

Actually My problem is the fees for two applications to be submitted together!! Do you mean that it couldn’t be done for my child now and later for me separately??

Please clarify with many thanks

You could do it the other way round. Naturalise a parent first.
