Hi Gurus,
I got my tier 2 visa change of employment approved (from within the UK) and now I am serving my notice period with old sponsor. To make it simpler I'll provide timeline below
Old sponsor
Tier 2 BRP valid from : March 2017
Expiry : March 2022
15 October 2018 - approved for tier 2 change of employment with new sponsor (Valid from 15 oct 2018 to 30 Oct 2021). Start date in COS 2 Jan 2019.
Last employment date with old sponsor: 31 December 2017
Currently in possession of new BRP sponsored by New sponsor. Currently serving notice period w old sponsor.
Question is i am due to travel during my notice period from end of Oct until first week of November. so in this period i will still work for old sponsor (no violation here, cos start date is jan 2019, and tier 2 visa policy guidance says youre allowed to work for old sponsor until start date)
When i re-enter the UK in November , I will have that BRP from new sponsor with me but technically I am still working for old sponsor until 31 Dec. Will this have any problem?
You know how they always ask you at the border "who do you work for? what do you do?". What should i say? They will see that my brp is attached to new sponsor but im still working for old sponsor as im serving my notice. Will this be a problem? Seeking advice from gurus and people who have gone through the same thing.
I have seen a few posts with similar questions but never with conclusive answer.
