Immirgation Status of Uk born child to a ILR parent

Hi ereryone,
I have been a member of this forum a long time ago and learned a lot from here. Especially for my ILR application I gathered all the info from here and the members were very helpful. So I am turning back to you guys again for help again.

I was granted ILR in 2012. Got married back home in 2014 and was blessed with a son. Applied for my wife and son for spouce and dependent child visa. The application was refused but I won the appeal and now both of them are in UK.

I have two questions.

1. We are expecting another baby which is due in December. What will be the baby’s immigration status. Can I apply for her British Passport directly or do I need to register the baby as british citizen and fill the MN1 form.
2. I am self employed and due to my wife’s medical condition I have taken a huge time off work and I will not meet the financial threshold eding this year. Because of this I also applied for universal credit to help me out. Will this effect her visa after 2.5 years later when I apply for FLR(M).

AS you are settle person in UK so the the child will get British passport straight away, no need MN1.
