Switch from TIER 2 ICT dependant to TIER 1 Enterpreneur

Hi everybody

I m new to this forum.

I currently live in Uk on Tier 2 ICT Dependent visa.

I m interested in switching my visa into Tier 1 Enterpreneur Visa.

1/Is it possible to switch while I m in Uk? My dependent visa might expire soon before I could get Tier 1 enterpreneur visa application done?

2/ can my child ( who currently lives in UK on Dependent visa to Tier 2 ICT too) switch to Tier 1 Enterpreneur visa's dependant while she is in UK too? Or does she have to leave before coming back?

3/ Can my wife - who is currently working in UK on Tier 2 ITC visa switch to my Tier 1 Enterpreneur Visa's dependents while she is in UK or not?

Or does she have to leave UK to finish her TIER 2 ICT visa before she applies to become my TIER 1 Enterpreneur' defendant?

4/ As an dependant, can my wife apply for a job immediately in UK or will 12 month cooling period be applied for For her before she can apply for a new job?

5/ as a dependant to Tier 1 Enterpreneur, will my child be able to study in a state fund school or must she study in an independent fee paying school?

No, you cannot. You would need to apply from outside UK

They can both apply within UK after your visa is granted assuming that their current visa is still valid at that point in time.

4/ As an dependant, can my wife apply for a job immediately in UK or will 12 month cooling period be applied for For her before she can apply for a new job?

Immediately

No restrictions on where she studies.

Yes, you have to apply from outside. If it fails, the existing visa would not be cancelled.
If your visa expires, you cannot stay in the country. How else would you apply for a new visa ?

My Tier 2 ICT will finish in a few months. I also want to come back to UK by Tier 1 Entrepreneur. 

Do you think that I should apply from my home country as soon as I leave UK or I can cool down a few months before I apply?
