Is there hope if I received the letter asking for Draft, photos and GNIB on Oct.23 to be included for this ceremony on the 26 or is that very unlikely? I sent all my docs next day after receiving the letter. fingers crossed.
That's quite possible. My wife received her approval on 16/04 and had been invited on the 21/05 ceremony. We got her invitation only couple weeks in advance. Good luck!
Thanks for the quick reply. I will keep checking my mailbox every day then :D

i’m in the same booth but i won’t mind if i’m not included in this ceremony to be honest. the most important is that a decision has been reached on my application so i can now move on with other things in my life

Has anyone tried to travel without GNIB and enter Ireland just with the letter? I sent mine last week and have business travel coming soon that I cannot miss.
yes i did travel once, i had a copy of the letter with me (just in case) where they requested 950 EUR and also a copy of my GNIB.
However i did not need any of them, just told the guy 'i've submitted my GNIB for ceremony'.
I am traveling again soon, hopefully it will be as easy as the first one.
P.S: I have a valid re-entry visa at the moment.

Yeah, it should be completely fine. I'm travelling today and will have to travel before the ceremony again. As long as you have the letter they won't say anything!

Hey,
I am starting panicking here.
Received approval end of Aug. Sent 950€ and pictures the next day. Sent gnib 3 weeks later (was renewing it). Was in email conversation with processing team to confirm it’s fine. Still no invitation. Any idea when will they stop sending out invites? I can’t belive I won’t be included into ceremony after receiving approval in August 😭

I get your panic, Im in kind of the same spot, I dont understand why people who were approved so long ago are not invited yet. I only sent all those docs last week (a day after receiving the letter) but still nothing. Sent an email today to see if at least they received it 😞 I guess our only option is waiting. Best luck to you all, keep posting if you get invites 🙌🏼Hopeeee

I'm in the same boat as everyone, got my approval August and sent all that they require. 950,Gnib card and photos but no acknowledgement whether they have it. Although the same man who receives their mails sign it because I send all my document via registered mail. So I emailed them but no response...I'm still praying to be included in this ceremony..

Hi guys , just got a phone call from citizenship office confirming that they received all my documents in September . They also told me that I will be in the next ceremony in 2019 as the November one is full . My gnib is expiring in January that means I will have to renew it and send it to them . All the best to all who got their invites to this ceremony so far

Hi Shehz, good luck in getting your invite soon. Looking at inis website, next ceremony could be around april/May most likely (its just my assumption). so lets hope for the best. can i ask when did you apply for naturalisation?
My spouse applied on Aug-2017 based on 5 years residence on Stamp 1 and 4, and awaiting approval

Regards.

This is odd how is it that they send you approval letter and gave you 10 days to submit docs in order to be in next ceremony and then you received a call saying that this ceremony is full?
Then why the deadline to submit documents?
Also hassaanhaque a guy 2 post above you received his approval after you was told in an email that he will received his invite ?
I can only guess this is due to the fact that hassaanhaque applied in 2016 and maybe they are clearing 2016 people before ?

Hi . Yes I was really hoping that I would make it to this ceremony in November . As I had sent my documents back straightaway well within the 10 days time frame . As to my timeline . I applied in nov 2016 on the basis of 3 years irish association as my child is Irish . I was refused in March 2018 as I did not have 5 years residency .as soon as I completed my 5 years on stamp 1 and 4 in June 2018. I re applied . I got approved in first week of sept 2018 sent documents and now was waiting for invite .

well maybe they made concession for you by just approving you in 3 months the 2nd time usually people wait between 1 to 2 years and even more specially non eu ciz.
they might want to include more people from 2016 and 2017 into the nov ceremony
as this guy hassaanhaque he applied in sept 2016 even before your first application.

anyways I hope you get your invitation letter in next ceremony.

No invitation yet as well. That'd be weird to leave people waiting, asking to pay and send docs and now having to wait, without a GNIB card until next year!

on the ceremony of 21st may and the last post on this form regarding invitation was 10th may a member received his invitation and this time the ceremony is on the 26 November so people will get invitation until 15th November.
well this is only assumption and speculating based on may ceremony they might be fully booked already.

if they give you the 10 day deadline then in fairness they should send invitation although this is not something very serious u have to pay the fee and when you send your grada card your not under any obligation to having your card from that day neither your legal status is effected the only issue is if you have traveling plans after the ceremony to which you were not invited but that happen rarely.

Hey guys, I sent an email and got confirmation that they received my docs and that I will be included on NOV.26 ceremony so good news. E-mail also mentioned all invitation letters are being issued. I haven't received the actual letter on the post but looking forward to it.

Good luck everyone!
