Hey guys, I sent an email and got confirmation that they received my docs and that I will be included on NOV.26 ceremony so good news. E-mail also mentioned all invitation letters are being issued. I haven't received the actual letter on the post but looking forward to it.

Got letter requesting payment on oct 23rd, sent all docs oct 24th, sent mail nov 1st, got reply nov 5th.

This is odd how is it that they send you approval letter and gave you 10 days to submit docs in order to be in next ceremony and then you received a call saying that this ceremony is full?
Then why the deadline to submit documents?
Also hassaanhaque a guy 2 post above you received his approval after you was told in an email that he will received his invite ?
I can only guess this is due to the fact that hassaanhaque applied in 2016 and maybe they are clearing 2016 people before ?

Very strange indeed @Mal111. why will they send approvals in late October if they don't expect those people to be included in the next ceremony? I guess we should just wait and see what they will do in the end. I sent them an email, let's see what they'll say

Well that’s exactly my timeline as well . Ditto . Received approval on 23 and sent same day which they received post on 24th at 8am . No response yet and even I sent them an email on 1st but no response . That really odd . Even with this they are pretty random

I know a few cases who submitted their gnib but missed ceremony as it was full : they were called for this sept18 ceremony .
Again it’s a shame if people have to wait 4-6 months after approval

I got approval letter on 1st Nov and sent the documents next day. The letter said that if I wanted to be included in next ceremony I must send the documents within 10 days, is this statement always present even for those who received approval months ago?
Looking forward to receive the invitation but seems I will need to wait till next year ☹

when did you apply as i think if your application is from 2017 or 2016 you may have a chance because i think they are prioritizing people who applied in 2016

As long as it’s standardise it makes no sense to keep sending out approvals if they can’t accommodate everybody in the upcoming ceremony. I’m in the same boat where I got my approval on the 23rd and sent everything on the next day via express post. I wonder if I should send them an email asking for an update or just ring them?

I applied on Sept 2017, got approval on Nov 2, Friday( dated 31 Oct), sent all on Monday. Feeling panic I might not get invited

i dont know who said that ceremony were full and someone also said that they will priortise based on application year. i dont think the guys will spend so much time thinking and working out all such logic.
its simply first come first based on response where they would keep entering in the list till it becomes close to 3k. my latter was dated 6th so that was just yest.
i would say still slots left to fill, unless they go random again in chosing the remaining. Pure luck from start to finish . Ofcourse your background matters but all internal steps

I sent an email today and they quickly just confirm me that my documents were received and that I am included for next 26 Nov ceremony, so just a matter of get the invitation letter. Invitations are issuing I was told.
For reference I applied Feb this year, got denied in the middle of the year, I requested an administrative revision and got it in progress again, 1st Nov got approval letter, next day I sent bank draft.

They’re still sending invitations for the November 26 ceremony that’s for sure but I’m not sure about approvals. When I called them yesterday, they told me that they’re still issuing invitations so I guess in the course of next week they’ll be more invitations received and we’ll certainly hear about that in this forum.
