ILR for family on Tier 2 Dependent visa

Post by zyn » Sat Nov 10, 2018 12:31 am

I got ILR recently based upon 5 years residence of Tier 2
I need opinion regarding my family.
My wife and daughter ( 8 yrs old ) are on Tier 2 Dependent Visa currently and their details are:

Date visa granted from Pakistan: 10/03/2014
Date of family entry in UK: 12/04/2014
BRP valid until: 14/02/2019

1. Can my family continue to stay on current Tier 2 Dependent visa?
2. If yes, Would they be eligible to apply for ILR on 12/02/2019, if their ILR duration starts from day of issue of entry clearance and can apply 28 days before completion of 5 years?

Please advise!

The answer to both of the questions is yes. Use the visa issue date and apply in 2019
