so i wanna send my 2nd email to HO on incoming monday morning(after 12days)regarding updates of application,so please pray for me as well as all others.

Im thinking to send pre paid return envolpe to HO with my case ID and cover note to save time because 2nd class post take ages to deliver...is that a good idea?
hellow,thats good idea but its all up to homeoffice,they use it or not bcz i saw some members who received thier pre paid envolpes inside homeoffice own envolpe,i included it with my application. HO already received my application on 2nd October 18..Thanks

I applied on 1/10/18. Like everyone I too, emailed HO on 5/11/18 and again on 8/11/18, I received their reply on same day.

Home Office replied:
" Thank you for your e-mail. A communication will be posted to you, this can take up to three weeks for you to receive. "

The reply I received are exactly the same, both have logos, address etc.

And today I received the approval / invitation letter from HO. The approval date on the letter was 2/11/18.

Dont worry but as my understanding if u just write to them it could b easy for u to understand and they will resend letter.Usually they ask Eng tests,any missing dacuments,or any further confirmation regarding any information u gave them. so better write to them about it and send this letter first class sign delivery to the address u sent your application/dacuments first time .

I applied on 15/10 (online + NDRS + JCAP), NDRS appointment on 17/10. I sent them an email earlier today asking for an update on my case. The reply I got was:

I actually have got help from a solicitor filling up the form and providing needed documents. I do not think i am missing anything to be honest. If the letter was send out to me on the 27th october which is one week after my biometrics enrolled. Do you think it could actually be the decision posted to me? I cant think of anything else. And their email responses seems to be not right anyway?

3 months average wait , some get response early..

but thay only makes one anxious , majority application take 3 months . 3 friends of mine applied within last 6 months , taken 3 months on average..

I guess i just have to wait and see what happens next

Gladly you emailed them, i have seen so many got refused because of no delivery of letters. you found out sooner. I would keep emailing them about their letter delivery every 5 working day. You are lucky you found out about this unknown letter they sent to you.

I am still waiting for my letter and i need it by the end of this week...

I even tried to call HO team listed on their website. The guy who took up the call said he will be super surprise if anyone hears back from HO within 6 months and that is the average time...

However i dont think that is what is indicated by the timelines in this forum?

I also emailed them this morning to find the status of my application made on 24th August and they replied "a letter will be posted to you. it can can take up to 3 weeks to receive". No clue what this update means but i will be waiting
