My Spouse Visa Document List (Please check it!)

Hello All,
I am applying for a UK Spouse Visa and my sponsor is on ILR
He has his own private limited company in the UK and in Appendix we filled out self-employment.
I have heard about rules that the bank statements and payslips should be with 28 days of the appointment date although in other places the rules state that they need bank statements from the Company's Last financial year. This has lead me to a lot of confusion.
Do I need to submit Payslips and Bank statements of recent dates (October)
Or do I need to submit payslips relating to the CT600 period?

Any advice would be deeply appreciated.

The most recent/newest documents cannot be older than 28 days, not all the documents.

For Ltd company, it needs to be 12 months evidence.

Thank you so much for the reply,

1)What recent/new documents would this include example I am submitting a letter from my human resources department stating that I am currently the director of the company would this have to be within this 28 days period. And which other documents like these have to be within the 28 days period
2) What about undated documents? Do I have to worry about them?
3) Also about this 12 months evidence does it have to be the same as my CT600 and should I submit my CT620?

2. What documents are 'undated'??

3. You need to follow exactly what is asked for in Appendix SE. If you miss out any documents, you will likely be refused (recent member had this unfortunate experience).

Dear CR001
I have already gone through rejection once
They first rejected the visa stating that I was applying in the wrong category (I choice Salaried Employment instead of Self-Employment for the company)
And then they considered it on Self-Employment and saw I didn't submit CT600 ETC.

Anyways for my peace of mind would you mind just quickly checking like my visa document list and maybe advice me on any additional documents.
It would be a huge huge help.

The Service Agreement is basically all contracting the company has done since 2016 to date...
I have just added this for more proof of the company
If you saw all the other documents, did you see anything missing or wrong?

Hello mate

dont know if i am late but if you see this post please try to get these as well.
I found this info after going through all the guidelines and Appendix FM-SE pages.

Along with all the docs you mentioned

1. Accountant's Letter for your company (very important)

2. For un-audited accounts, Accountant must be a member of a UK Recongnized Supervisory Body or who is a member of the institute of Financial Accountants.

3.A current appointment Report from Companies House

4. If VAT register, A VAT Certificate and VAT return for the last full financial year

5. Proof of Registration with HMRC as an employer for the purpose of PAYE and national insurance, proof of PAYE reference number and Account office reference number. (this evidence may be in the form of a certified copy of teh documentation issued by HMRC.

6. Employer nation insurance Contribution.

7. Payslips and P60 and bank statements of Directors or employee of the company as the same period as CT600.


these are the full list along with your listed docs. but now no need to get panic if you cant get one for tomorrow. try to justify as much as you can with the docs you have.

Sadly, I have already applied for my visa today at 2pm so I will not be able to submit those documents,

1) I didn't include an accountants letter in the application as I didn't see this being required in the appendix could you please show me the paragraph in Appendix FM / FM-SE where this is stated
2) Yes I got a UK Recognized Supervisory Body to get the no Auditing required letter although I had a worry as it was dated 32 days before my application, not the required 28 I hope they don't mind
3) I submitted a printed color Screenshot of the Company House statement which is available online of my company will this be enough?
4) I do believe I have submitted this although I am not quite sure if the full VAT Return is there I will have to see in my Documents Personal list
5) I have submitted 2018,2017 HMRC Returns and PAYE Screenshot printed which is available online is this enough again?
6) I have just submitted my Company Insurance for 2018,2017
7) Yes, I have submitted all these I am nearly 100% sure.

I am very Worried I feel like I may have rushed the Application but I hope the ECO is considerate, I applied for Priority and I am said to receive a decision within 30 Working Days, If you notice anything else please let me know this forum is very kind!

(iv) If the company is not required to produce annual audited accounts, unaudited accounts for the last full financial year and an accountant’s certificate of confirmation, from an accountant who is a member of a UK Recognized Supervisory Body (as defined in the Companies Act 2006) or who is a member of the Institute of Financial Accountants.

as long as you have given something. If ECO needs more they will ask i guess.
