Registering child for BC/referees

Post by hw rose » Sat Nov 17, 2018 6:19 pm

Hi
I've asked the teacher and teaching assistant at nursery to be referees for my 3 year old son. They are both British citizens however now that they've given me their details the teacher is over 25 but the TA is only 24 years old.
My question is do they meet the criteria as referees when you consider the following?

Give your first referee's details. This referee must be the holder of a British Citizen passport (and either a professional person or over the age of 25)
Give your second referee's details. This referee should be a person (of any nationality) who has professional standing. This can include a minister of religion, civil servant or a member of a professional body such as an accountant or solicitor (who is not representing you with this application).

Many thanks,

Hi
Another clarification please in addition to her age....do you think that the fact that she is a teaching assistant and not yet a teacher as in the list of accepted professions might be an issue?
