Flrm photographs

Post by board2018 » Sun Nov 18, 2018 9:35 pm

I’m applying for an extension to flrm. I wanted to clarify:-

1. The online form does not ask for photographs of me or my spouse for my application. Have they changed this? Initially I thought I had to attach this to my application from

2. Also as this is an extension do I need to provide photos of both of us and chats of me and my spouse?

I am applying by post.

Can I please have some confirmation?

Hi CR001

Unfortunately the application for SET M was a refusal because even thought my BRP’s expiry was 3rd of Dec 18 and I applied within the 28 day window. Overall I had not completed the 60months.

Seems there was some confusion then my second LTR was granted. Which lead to the expiry on the brp to be printed as December when it was meant to be Jan 19.

Therefore I have been asked to apply for another flrm extension so I can ensure I complete the initial 60months by completing an additional month.

What date did you enter the UK on your spouse visa/

What date did the first spouse visa expire?

What date did you apply for an extension and what date was it granted?

Your 5 years residence qualifying period starts from 10 January 2014 so you could only apply for ILR within 28 days before 10 January 2019.

You applied too early for your extension in 2016 which has created the shortfall you have.

Your only option is the extension application, paying Ihs and visa fees and then applying for ILR when you qualify and paying the ILR fee again.

You need to send photos, even if not used, better to send than not.

Thanks CR001. Unfortunately this is the only option and as most premium appointments are booked up until the end of November I am unable to get a decision soon.

I have put all may documents together for the FLRM extension route and I will be posting my documents soon along with photos.

On the extension route do I still need to give them photos of me and my spouse together along with any communication details?

I will open a thread today with details of the docs I want to send off for FLRM

Thanks

Post by board2018 » Mon Nov 19, 2018 9:49 am

Firstly I would like to say a big thank you to admin CR001 who has assisted with my previous application. I am now applying for FLRM extension tomorrow and I just wanted to check that I had all the right documents. I began looking at the form on the weekend and have completed the application online.
If someone can please have a look at the documents and let me know if there is anything else I need to add/remove from my pack. My qualifying period runs from May 2016 until Deb 2018

Main Applicant
2*Passport (current passport all pages and old passport with only pages of stamps, visas and photo page)

English Language Requirement - BA Degree from a UK University with transcripts

My Partner
1* BC Passport (I have a made copy of his passport) I will only be sending copies of this via the post

Gas and Electric Bills - Dec 17, Jun 18, Oct 18
Mortgage Docs - Sep 17 and Sep 18
We do NOT have a tenancy agreement for 2016/2017 as this had other peoples names on it and we don't have consent.
Declaration Documents printed and signed
I will also add a covering letter to explain the reason for the extension requirement.
We will be photocopying everything and sending the originals with photocopies of all the documents
(besides my husbands passport)
Do I need to provide any photos of us together or information to show we are still together? I have not provided that information as this is an extension.

Please let me know if this is sufficient for a postal application and if I am missing anything important.

Thanks in advance!

No. You need to provide evidence of cohabitation.

I will merge this topic with the new one you started.

Thanks CR001. So I am not providing photos of us together. Is everything else okay with the application documents? I am sending these tomorrow.

Thanks

CR001 - property inspection report? I’ve seen this on some websites. Is this required for FLRM extension?

Only required if you live in an HMO or houseshare with people unrelated to you. If you and your partner live alone in the mortgaged property, then it is not required,

I’ve supplied evidence of cohabitation for the past 2.5 years. Last year we bought a house so I also provided the mortgage statement and a few letters address to us for this.
Should I have provided a tennancy. I mentioned previously the tennancy had other people’s names on it and so we didn’t provide it as we didn’t have consent. We however provided all the documents required for cohabitation which shows the address we were staying at.
CR001 can you confirm? I’m stressed about this now.

No need for the tenancy agreement of old property if you have sufficient other documents.
