Hi, the Appendix II ask the question about marriage and divorce.
In summary your visa will refuse. if you are married in pakistan in first marriage and you lived in the UK after that then divorce decree needs to be done in UK. Home office will not accept the divorce in pakistan.
once you got the decree divorce in UK then you can marry in pakistan after that. if you already did 2nd marriage, i advise to re-register your marriage after the decree divorce.
there are several cases where home office denied the visa due to that issue.

Not necessarily it should be a uk decree absolute in case of foreign marriage & divorce. See 4 set 13.4 of following:

Just to reclarify my situation. My first marriage was in the UK and divorce absolute has been obtained. UKBA know I'm married in pakistan as they required marriage certficate for my daughter passport.

Hi
I applied for Fiance visa 2 weeks ago via priority service. UKBA have emailed asking to pay IHS Surcharge, can someone confirm this is required as my understanding is this in my case would be when I apply for spouse visa once marriage is registered in uk.
Can anyone clarify
Many Thanks

It seems an error because any visa not longer than 6 months are not required to pay IHS. But still donot ignore the email and perhaps just pay it then ask for refund.

Hi All
Had a call from HO this morning, had a 10 min conversation with someone from interview team. Just confirming details about my job etc and other basic questions. Is this a normal thing they do. ?

No one knows the answer to your question.
Case workers sometimes make enquiries when initially going through all support documents or when they are ready to make a decision but need further clarification on something.

Hi
On HO call to me they mentioned they contacted my employer HR for my employment details but HR could not disclose information without my authorisation, and HO asked if I could give them authorisation which I did.
I spoke to my HR today to check if HO have called and they said they haven't and have not recieved any call prior to my authorisation from HO. So no calls were made
Would HO still call HR?
Thanks

Mostly good organization doesn't disclose the information about someone without his/her prior consent which now is a common practice. If they need then they may recall them again.

I was in the same situation, i got married in 2013, which ended in divorce (sharia law) and got married back home in Pak in 2015, when applying for my wifes spouse visa it got rejected because HO didnt recognise my second marriage and I needed a absolute decree.
When I reapplied for the wifes spouse visa again in Nov 2015, i got a letter from the mosque stating that this not a legal marriage and under sharia law we were divorced my solicitor also wrote a very strong covering letter aswell. And alhumdullilah in March 2016 visa was granted. And we have just sent off documents for FLR M. So anybody has issues like this you can always get your mosque to write a letter and hopefully works out.

The visa that has come through is
D-Marriage/CP STANDARD then my initial and surname
Visa is valid for 6 months.
Is this the correct fiance visa from which I can apply for spouse visa once marriage is registered in uk.
Thanks

Thanks for confirming.
I had to pay IHS fees that I don't think are required for this visa.
Can I use that fee paid for future spouse visa or do o need to ask for a refund.

Wasn't required and you should get a refund.

No you cannot use it for a future visa application. You should ask for a refund.
