does anyone know dor appeal how long take time
or its better to appky again uf yiur case get refused
Hi Afshin; what was the reason of your refusal?

I think re-applying is the best option if you can afford it. According to my research appeal can take upto 12 months.

Well the call representative told us in October that our decision has been made n we shyd wait for a call for collection.. its been a month n we had escalate twice but still no call from vfs office.. wats ur biometric date n other timeline?
Hi, momi, have you heard anything from UKVI? I escalated my case several times. Last Friday they sent me an email saying that they have technical problem with my application. I don’t understand what does that even mean because my decision has already been made. Please let us know if you hear anything from them. Thank you.
Hi !!
We got call from VFS office yesterday to collect the passports of my wife n son.. they got it today Alhamdulillah visa granted.
If ur decision has been made just wait n pray no need to escalate again n again.. its just the waste of money.

Great news!!! Congratulations!!! After how many days did you get the passport? Did they mention anything about the technical problem with your application? Please keep me in your dua. Because my husband came to Dhaka on 15th of this month thinking that he will take us with him to London. Now he has to go back on 30th. Very upset that he has to go back without us.

Hi Khayeruleawara, momi got passport after almost one and half months. I gave biometoon 31st December 2017. Heard on 29th October that a decision has been made. Still waiting for the passport. As far as I know decision is made in Sheffield. But your passport is with the British High Commission. They will stamp the visa there.

As I follow this thread quite often and I've seen recent discussions about involving MP, just wanted to share about our experience with that so far.
I wrote to the MP by sending him a letter last week. The main point I was trying to make in my letter aside from the obvious delay with our application was the injustice that UKVI are not meeting their customer service target times and there is no date given as to when a decision might be made and that we the applicants and sponsors are left helpless, all we can do is escalate and re-escalate every 3 weeks! (which is almost a month every time)! I think this is a super messed up system.
I received a response from the MP's assistant saying that she'd been in touch with UKVI regarding our application and that, as they keep saying to us on our numerous phone calls, 'checks are still being made'... No actual reason being given as to why the checks are taking so long though. And no comment was made regarding my point about how the system works (about having to escalate again and again with no real purpose to it).

Anyway, just wanted to share our current situation as it can help knowing even if just a little that other people are going through the same thing, I know for me personally, I feel a little less alone when I follow people's comments on this thread.
