ILR- When to apply

Hi all!

I have entered the UK on a spouse visa in October, 2013. I got Leave to Remain in 2016 ( 5 year route), and my biometric permit expires in February, 2019.

Should I wait 28 days before my permit expires to apply for ILR or can I already do it, once I have already been here for 5 continuous years?

You could have applied within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the date you entered the UK.
