14 day grace period

Post by themightyjoseph » Fri Nov 30, 2018 6:10 pm

I have recently tried to apply for indefinite leave to remain but was refused and told that i needed to re-apply for further leave to remain the letter was sent from home office from 15th of november but my solicitor only recieved it on 20th of november this year. i managed to send it off today but im afraid i am 1 day late. I have wrote a letter with my application stating that my solicitor only received the letter on the 20th. Will this be an issue? I am a highly skilled migrant who has lived here for 17 years.

What is your full immigration history including all relevant dates?

Your previous posts suggest you had DLR.

I came here as a child with my mum and brother. we were refused several time. My mum got hers in early 2012 before the 10 year rule came in and i got mine in 2013 so im under 10 year route but i tried to apply for indefinite seeing as my mum was granted in early 2012 but was refused, so I had to reapply for further leave. i managed to send the application which is 1 day late from when home office sent it, but my solicitor only got it on the 20th of november, meaning we only had 10 days.
