Received my BRP card today!!
yesterday I had called up UKVI call centre and selected standards not met option as some had suggested earlier on this forum. Home office had mailed me today morning giving the tracking number of the package sent to me.I tracked the package and it was out for delivery. received it in the afternoon and it had my BRP.

So it seems the UKVI does respond back the next day either with the decision letter or the tracking number of the package. The only crucial thing is to call them and select the standards not met option.

If this option was informed properly to all applicants by home office it would have saved all the worries and headache of waiting for the decision.

so basically to sum up:
I applied on 22nd.
Decision taken on 23rd.
BRP received on 28th.

one more thing guys..my BRP has 2024 expiry date.is it the same for you??

Dear Members, Moderators,

I started online application for my wife (ILR 10 Years). As I am supposed to scan all the pages of her passport. Do I need to scan All THE PAGES OF MY BRITISH PASSPORT, CHILDS BRITISH PASSPORT which is being submitted as supporting documents to main applicant (My wife).

If I complete the application and want to book apt for same day /next day service, how quickly can I manage to get the appt.

One of the mandatory requirement is " Evidence you have to prove the relationship
with Mr ..................... (for
example marriage certificates), and
correspondence addressed either to you jointly,
or in both of your names, or addressed
individually to you at the same address, to cover
the last two years

For first part marriage certificate is ok. But for the second part Will a GP letter stating our details and all our registered address be sufficient ? or do I need any thing else to cover this mandatory documents section?

Many Thank to all in advance.

Kind Regards,

I did my biometrics etc in Croydon on the 24th, everything went smoothly for me and i was in and out in about 25 minutes.
That being said i had scanned and uploaded all of my documents in advance and paid for the document checking service (though i don't know why they want them 2 days in advance, the person i was with seemed to be checking them while i sat there with him)

I've had no communication at all from UKVI, which after reading the forum seems to be the norm at the moment. I'm just waiting to see if i get anything in the mail.

Hi Everyone,

I have a query on the date of my application of ILR. As per the policy, we can apply 28 days before the completion of the 5 years of the continuous period. Is this date of application calculated till the date of your online application where you book the fees or is it till the date have your appointment to submit your documents at premium service? I have already submitted my application online and booked appointment.

Service Type: New Premium service
28 days qualifying period starts on 11th Dec 2018.
Date of online application: 28 Nov 2018
My appointment on 13 Dec 2018

Is there suggestion related to my application?

From reading posts, jpg or pdf can be uploaded. Pdf are usually smaller files in my experience. Each file must be no larger than 6mb.

Dear Members,

I submitted my online application. At the end of it gave me list of docs like passport, visa,...... . Then i was directed to sopra website. There none of these docs list appear on mandatory docs list? Below it got some other docs which all are not relevant to my appl like finance, employment, ..... ?
The size of passport scan file is more than 6mb. How can i upload this?
Could someone kindly suggest.

Many thanks

Did you save it as a pdf? Maybe scan at a lower resolution?

That is a very good question...what if file is larger than 6mb? I’m assuming that a passport (if we are required to scan every page..I think?) that will be massive?

Also under set M under mandatory documents it’s ask for ‘proof of application’ to be scanned. Does anyone know what this is exactly?

I got my BRP delivered this morning by DX. I had an appoitment on 27th (8AM) in Croydon. No notifications of any sort till this morning. So don’t worry too much if you don’t hear from them for a week or so. In my case it took 6 days (including the weekend).

Good luck to everybody.

Hi everyone,

I have booked an appointment for Friday and the Premium Service Centre in London for my British Naturalisation (through marriage, I went through the SET(M) process etc).

Has anyone else done this yet? I have started scanning my documents and wanted to understand if I need to scan all my passport pages for proof of travel to show continuous residency in the UK for the last 3 years.

I also have employment letters which will confirm this as well. I do not have all my p60s only some of them but from reading the guidance it said if you can't show this from your passports then you need to submit p60s, payslips etc.

Shall I scan all my passport pages and proof of employment letters or also include p60s and payslips.

Thank you for your help,

Trishna

i went on Tuesday to B'mgham and had the same scenario, no emails or mails till now
I Went there on Wednesday (21/11/2018). Same story. I think they should really compensate us for all the mental stress we go through. A simple email which some people received is what we need within 24 hours. What is the point of paying extra 600gbp if they cant even set up a consistent email system. this is really disappointing.
Hai Barath88,

I have got the following response from UKVI, Sheffield Home Office) to process re refund for the Super Priority Service:

"Dear Customer

We aim to make a decision on all Super Priority Visa (SPV) applications within 24 working hours of the appointment being completed.

For example, if your appointment is on Friday 21st December at 10:00am, we will aim to make a decision on your application by Monday 24th December, 9:59am.

However this is on the assumption that we have all the required evidence to make a decision.

Decision notifications can be sent to the email address you have used to submit your application. BRP cards (if your application is successful) will be delivered to you via courier within 5 – 10 working days.

If we are unable to make a decision within the service standard you have paid for i.e. SPV, you may make a formal request for the return of the priority portion of the fee. You would not be refunded the entire application fee.

Regards,

Central Operations Team"

Hope this would be helpful for people to apply for SPV service in the future. There is a possibility to get a future refund

This email suggests that it is hopeful to get some refund. From their service adverts, the super priority is within 24 hours and the priority is within 10 working days. The gap between these two service options is £100. So, it is likely that a refund of £100 could be given if the decision was made within 10 working days and after 24 hours.
