My husband has completed his citizenship application and we're scanning documents, ready to go to the Sopra centre this Saturday. We're a little confused by the passport requirement. Do we need to scan every page in each of our passports, or just mine? I can't seem to find advice on this anywhere so I'd be grateful for any help!
Thanks,
joannakabana
If you decided to scan all the pages, you can reduce the size using Adobe reader...(save as..reduced size)DocKnow wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 5:04 pmyes it is better to scan each page of the document and upload. I tried self-uploading a file containing all pages of my passport but it was too big (Sopra system only allows 6MB per file). So when I went for my appointment, I asked the person checking my documents to scan my entire current passport and previous (expired) passports.
Hope this helps.
I managed this file size issue by altering the scanners settings to 150 dpi. My 30 page passport comes out at 2.3MB and is good enough quality to see all information clearly.DocKnow wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 5:04 pmyes it is better to scan each page of the document and upload.
