Hi
I just have a quick question.hope anyone can help me please
I made a spouse visa application online for my wife on 1st november.7th of november my wife submitted passprt and biometric in bangladesh.
I have 2 solid employment salary about 30000 with both job.all my payslips and bank statement are fine.
But i have requested letter from 1 employer on 31st october.they issue me a letter on 13 november with a mistake, which is after the date of application submission date.finally they issued me a letter on 16th of november.
I heard that this emploment letters should be issued before making application.is this right??
Finally after talking to hr manager, will not be able to change the date but mentioned on the letter that i have requested the letter on 31st october and information is same to the date.
I have send all my paper to sheffield, though i had no other choice.
I am little worried now.anyone have any suggestion about it or any thing i need to do.any help will be highly appreciated.
Thank you all

You are overthinking because your employer has already rectified the error and clarified the actual date of employment letter.

Hi seagul..
Thank you for your reply.m just worried because i'v been told that any supporting document have to be issued before making the application.in my case which is not.otherwise the application will be refused.so i m just concern about how the rules work.any supporting letter issued after application submission but covering the period before application,is valid or not.
Any clue?
Thank you again

Yes the date of documents should not be after the date of application but as you said that your employer has already clarified that the original letter was asked before the date of application then it should be fine.

Its always best practice to apply spouse visa when all relevant documents are in hands. Its very normal practice that your payslip get prepared earlier than the actual transfer of wages into account. In that situation ideally go to branch and get the latest statement/print out of transaction to show the latest salary credit to HO.

I have already send this bank statement to home office.my question is money from my last payslip credited to my account after the date of my online application. payslip issued before the date of application.will it be a problem?that lead to a refusal.
Thanks again seagul.

Its very usual practice that payslips get prepared earlier than the actual transfer of wages into account. Application won't be affected due to this only.

If payslip was actually dated after application then it would lead to refusal.

It's normal for pay to to be deposited at different dates to payslips. However you should really have waited for it to appear in bank before submitting the application.. Let's hope its a case worker who has common sense.
