If that's the rule, there's nothing you can do about it. It simply means that you do not qualify for HSMP and you should have known this before applying.
Para 43 in Annexure C of the HSMP Guide states "If you are living and working in a country but having your income paid into a bank account in another country your income will be considered against the country code where you are living and working". The key factor here being the country where you live and work (UK) and not the country where you get paid (India).
What will be your basis of requesting a review ... if I may ask?
