Dear Sir/Madam
I am going to apply for spouse visa through non-salaried income ( working on a zero hour contract)
On july we had 2 payslip as the company was changing the payday date. So on 3rd of july i got paid for 4 weeks but 24th of July i got payslip for 3 weeks . Does it matter if the payslip contains only 3 weeks as they asses your application for 6 months payslip.
Also on july i was on unpaid leave, hence i did recieve a payslip but it was blank.
Below is how my payslips looks like
july (3 weeks payslip but received a blank payslip because i was on unpaid holiday )
august - 2300
september- 1700
october - 1800
november - 1725
december - 2000
is this eligible to apply for the spouse visa.
Also the calculation of the payslip is before tax or after tax as this pay is before tax.
thank you

Yes your wages varying so you should fall into non-salaried person where the average of last 6 months will be taken to get the annualized wages like:
0+2300+1700+1800+1725+2000= 9525/6*12= 19050
Yes with above figures you can meet the financial requirement if you have no non-EU/British dependents. In your case you must attach an employer letter clarifying the paydate and also make sure to attach sufficient number of payslips which covers at least 6 months.

Thank you for the reply,
To cover the 6 months period i will have to send the other payslip which i recived on 3rd of july . But even that payslip is blank as i was on unpaid leave during that time . so if the company writes the letter stating that i was on unpaid leave , therefore i was not paid during that time , will that be okay as long as the 6 months period covers the amount of minimum £18600.
thank you so much for your help

does it matter
like for one month payslip i am on paid leave and next i am on unpaid leave and next again its paid leave . The unpaid leave in between was beacuse of emergency. like for example
july - paid holiday
august - unpaid ( no amount on payslip , blank payslip )
september - paid holiday
oct - paid work
nov - paid work
december- paid work
and when added it sums upto more than £18600
The above is just an example

The statutory holidays entitlement is 5.6 weeks or mostly 28 days a year. If you get paid highly excessively then HO will rigorously investigate about it.

is it okay to apply through non salaried employment with 6 payslips but un between ive been on a holiday and the payslip was blank as i had used my holiday pay before but since my work is zero hour contract i am allowed to take more leave than other works where you are allowed only 28 days in a year. Hence , the payslip was blank as i had not worked. However when calculation total payslip with 2 payslips blank it is more than £9300 income in 6 months.
thank you

I have been employed at my workplace for more than a year, i am currently in non salaried work in which i earn between 1800-2000 pound a month depending on the hours as i am in zero hour contract. I have recently been offered for a salaried job within the company as i have recently graduated. The annual income is between 21000 £. I am actually looking to apply for spouse visa around april but i was wondering if i accept this offer how is my payslip calculated for the application as i will be moving from non salaried job to a salaried job. Do i need to wait again another 6 months , which i dont want to do.

When I applied for my spouse visa, I was self employed earning more than the £18.6k minimum and I was able to use that in my application. I just had to have all of my tax forms, bank statements and certified accounts as proof.
I imagine yours would be a similar case. If you earned the minumum amount over the last 12 months, you should be able to submit the full 12 months of proof even from your non salaried work.

Hello,
I am going to apply for spouse visa through non salaried income as I am on 0 hour contract. My income from 6 months exceeds18600£ per annum. One concern I have is my bank statements had gone throught minus aswell on these months it is an arranged overdraft . But this month it is not in minus as I am trying to keep the ending balance in plus when giving the statement. Does that affect my application as I had spoken to one of a consultant and she said nothing to worry as they are only looking at the statement to see the salary coming in.???

Your balance even in negative on bank statement won't matter as long as the relevant credit entries are visibly appearing and fulfilling the financial requirement.
