UK Family Visit Visa Invitation letter - Pregnancy or Baby Shower reason?

Post by PCG » Sun Dec 30, 2018 7:45 am

Hello Everyone,

Can anyone help me if I should mention Pregnancy or baby shower on Invitation letter?
I have got MAT B1 as well as letter from the employer saying my wife will be on maternity leave.
Is there anyone have gone through recently.
as well as my father is around 60 yrs old and runs an small business in india to keep himself busy but he doesn't have any business bank statement but I'm sponsoring my parent and will be taking care of their trip..

I'll be really thankful if you can help me on this confusion.

Many thanks,

It's irrelevant which one you give. Most importantly, your father will have to submit strong evidence of ties to his home country, including financial self-sufficiency, family commitments in India etc. The ECO needs to be convinced that he won't overstay in the UK.
