Hi Casa, slightly wrong on this one. You can create a visa application on behalf of someone (Those who do not have English as their first language/representative such as solicitor). I submitted a visit visa for my mother in law on her behalf with her co-oporation and documentation sent from her side. In fact the first checkbox is to state if someone else is filling out the form or the applicant themselves. The applicant signs to ensure that details are correct once submitted (done after PDF is generated/printed on their side, I had sent the hard copy)Casa wrote: ↑Mon Dec 31, 2018 12:03 pmYour uncle has to apply for the visitor visa, not you.
What evidence of financial self-sufficiency and strong ties to his home country is he able to submit.![]()
The ECO needs to be convinced that he has stronger reasons to return home than he has to remain in the UK.
Put in his monthly income from his job, he will need to provide evidence such as wage slips or bank account deposits of this nature.Aaron_87 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 31, 2018 11:51 amHi,
I'm currently based in the UK but i want to apply for a standard visitor visa to the UK on behalf of my uncle who is based in India. Is this possible?
Also i've seen the application form online and it asks for monthly income and how much you'd be spending on the trip. If i was to sponsor the trip from the UK how would i need to fill the application form in?

The documentation and sponsorship can be from the person filling out the form on their behalf but of course, ALL applicant details need to be 100% correct
It's the very first page when you create a new application.. you can create multiple ones so take a look as a test.Aaron_87 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 31, 2018 2:08 pmbathanza wrote: ↑Mon Dec 31, 2018 1:58 pmHi Casa, slightly wrong on this one. I don't see the option on the online application to fill on someone else's behalf. Also if i was to fill the application form on their behalf can i make the payment from the UK or does he have to do it from india?
