Spouse visa extension with 5 payslips

Hi All,

I am planning to extend my wife’s visa in the first week of March 2019, by that time I will finish 5 months with my current employer and I was not working for more than a year before starting with my current employer. I.e I will have only 5 payslips at the time of application, and my gross earnings from 5 months are well above £18,600.

Is it possible to apply with 5 payslips or is there any rule which mandates 6 months employment? I read the guidance and I’m still confused.

Seniors and experts, please give your inputs.

Hi All,

My wife got visa now. Thank you all for your support. I applied under category B with 5 payslips ( and 12 months bank statements) and I was working for only one employer in the last 12 months and she was outside UK for 14 months in the last 2 years.

I provided enough evidence for cohabitation in the uk and for the time we were out of the country.
