Verification Form New Service

Hi,

I have a question about verification form (which is in 3 parts) in the new service (UKVCAS) for Spouse visa extension (FLR(M))

The part 3 of the form is related for a third party who offers financial support. Then, if an applicant is relying on cash savings of their spouse, should the spouse signs this part as a financial sponsor?

I am under the impression that this part is for a third party other than the applicant and their spouse but it is not clearly mentioned anywhere.

Also, the source of the cash saving is a gift from a relative. Does the relative also need to sign the part 3?
