Claim Asylum Again After Deportation

Post by Vafa » Sun Jan 06, 2019 2:34 pm

Dear Sir / Madam

I came to the Uk in 2004 and claimed asylum on arrival. In 2006 received a 5 years temporary visa to stay in the Uk. In 2011 received my ILR to stay indefinitely in the Uk. Then I started going to college and after 3 years I became a qualified Electrician but after near 2 years seeking for a job I lost my hope to get my own job and became depressed. Right or wrong I bought a fake passport and tried to trave to Canada and claim asylum there but unfortunately I was arrested in airport and sent to prison for 13 months and finaly deported back to my home country.
I am here to seek advice from you ladies and gents that can I seek asylum again somewhere safe in Europe or canada ?
I have to mention that at the moment I am politically against my own government.

Kind Regards

It is doubtful anyone here could or would want to advise on where best to apply for asylum. Asylum is not a regular way of immigration. Unfortunately you gave up ILR. Remember there is data sharing between law enforcement agencies within Europe and beyond and your conviction / deportation will count against you, for all types of applications.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

Hi mate,

Thanks for your advice, I have to say unfortunately I have to leave my country illegally so I can not apply for a visa to come to the Europe because as I said because of my political opinion the government is trying to catch me. If I use any airport or any port of entry either sea or land they may catch me. I have fear to be turtured by the government if get caught. What would happen if I claim asylum in the Europe for example Netherlands and tell them about my previous asylum case honestly ? Would they deport me back again to my home country even if I say my life will be in danger ? By law If I receive negative answer from the country I am seeking asylum do I have a chance to get refugee status in another country for example france ?

Many Thanks

Hi Garry,

Thanks for your reply
I was deported from the Uk in 2017 after spending 13 monthes in prison because of using false passport in the Manchester airport. The court siad there is no chance for me to stay in the Uk because my sentence was more than 12 months and I was not a citizen of the Uk although I could appeal against their decision but I had no good reasons to stay in the Uk anymore. For example I had no family or any business or house in the Uk. So I signed the deportation order and got deported back to my home country.

Thanks for your time

Hi vafa.
I think it could be hard to seek asylum in any other Europe country. Why you did not ask for asylum when uk deport you. I think you choose canada. Because in canada you are new.

Dear Garry ,

I did claim asylum when arrived to the Uk in 2004 and was deported in 2017.
Is there any information sharing between Uk and Canada about asylum seekers ?
If so there would be no difference between Eu and Canada coz I am new in both.
