T1E applied in UK: Waiting time counts ILR five years or not?

Post by georgina3499 » Mon Jan 07, 2019 7:06 pm

Hi all,

My business partner is on the same team with me under T1E now. He used to hold T1GE (August 2014-2016) but gave it up, then applied the T1E 200K with me as a team. We both applied T1E 200K in June 2016 and he got the visa finally after around 17 months wait in UK.(I got my visa quickly because I applied outside UK.) His visa start date is around the time when he received it, not when he applied. So there is like 17 months gap between his T1GE and T1E 200K. During the 17 months we keep running our business till now. Is there anyone knows this 17 months count towards the five year ILR time?

Thanks in advance.

No, it does not. It has to be 5 years on T1E

Hi Marcnath,

Thanks for your reply. Alway helpful. The waiting time for extension does count in the five years, doesn't it?
