Apply for passport while waiting for citizenship application

I hope you can help me.

I have just applied for citizenship online and I was wondering if I can apply for passport while waiting for the home office decision on my application.

No you cannot. You can only apply for a passport once you are British, ie after you have attended your ceremony if your application is approved.
