adequate maintenance and spouse visa

Post by totalguy » Mon Jan 07, 2019 8:13 pm

i have a spouse from the phillipines we intend to apply for a visa for her to come here to wales UK i assumed it would be spouse visa but as she has 1 child i am not sure if this is now correct.

im currently in reciept of PIP and ESA benefits and i have some small income from part time work. i understand i need the 114 for adequate maintenance for my spouse but thats as far as i can find i dont know how it works with 1 child also all the information i can find other than this is the normal requirements for spouse visa of £18600 and additional £3800 for a child. im not sure if it would be the same for the child because i dont need to meet the £18600 requirement.

thank you in advance
