Tier 2 to ILR switch - previous job change CoS start date issue

Hello People,

Hope you are enjoying the holiday period.

I have an important question with regards to my ILR application from T2G after 5 years of employment. I think I have made a mistake, I switched jobs (sponsors) last year.
- My previous job finish date was 15th Dec 2017 and the start date for the new job on the CoS was 27th Nov 2018.
- My new sponsor, however, agreed with me that I can start the new job on 2nd Jan 2018 as it would be pointless to start during the holiday/christmas period. And I am sure they didn't update the start date on the HO SMS online. That could be a problem? Could it be updated now, after a year?
- So, I continued working with my previous employer by serving out the notice period, up until 15th Dec 2018.
- I believe that this can be an issue during my ILR application which I am planning to submit end of Jan 2018.

Question:
Is there any work around or solution to this complication in order for me to avoid any hurdles during my ILR application? Your prompt reply will be appreciated as this is a bit urgent on my end.

For ILR, only the visa issue dates count. Your start dates are not that relevant

The BRP for my second employment was issued on 3rd Nov 2017 (start date on CoS was 23rd Nov 2017) while the last date of employment from my 1st employment was 15th Dec 2017. Could that cause an issue with regards to the ILR app?

I repeat again, the CoS start date does NOT matter.

As you say that only the visa issue date matters, my BRP (work visa) for my second employment was issued on 3rd Nov 2017, and my last date with my first employer was 15th Dec 2017.

Could this cause any issues/complications with regards to my ILR application?

One more question.

As mentioned previously, my last day with my 1st employer was on 15th Dec 2017. I was on holiday away from the UK between 3rd Dec 2017 and 30th Dec 2017. I was on paid annual leave from 3rd Dec 2017 to 15th Dec 2017, while from 15th Dec 2017 to 30th Dec 2017, I was away from the UK awaiting the start of my second employment which was 2nd Jan 2018.

What do you suggest I give in evidence to prove my absence away from the UK for the period between 15th Dec 2017 and 30th Dec 2017?

Could you please have a look at the proof of absence letter template I'll be using for my ILR app. Do I need to give breakdowns of the dates I was away from the UK? Does the company need to provide my period of employment? Or is it fine as shown below?

Better to confirm all the period of absence from work, so better they list them and mention they were are all approved by them
