ADVICE ON ILR CHANGE IN CIRCUMSTANCES

Post by Hereinthy » Wed Jan 09, 2019 10:27 pm

Hello all,

Please forgive me if this is the wrong forum to do this on but I would like to ask your advice on the following:

I have applied for ILR (LR) and like everyone on the existing thread, it’s unbelievably delayed despite me applying for the super priority option.

Since then, I’ve had to move house and I’ve moved in with family members.

Do you know of the best way to update the UKVI on this? Or shall I just hold off until they process them all by the end of Jan. (I still have access to my previous mailbox as the new tenant hasn’t arrived yet, and I could redirect my post (to my work).

My issue is two fold:
one- I don’t have any documentation to show that I’ve moved to a family members home (I’ve updated my bank details but they will take a week to send my statements so I’m stuck there)
Two- I’m worried that if I send this update it may further delay my application!

Had they processed my application during the time they set out, I would have been ok with weeks to spare. Is this their fault? I don’t want to be deceptive and I’m sort of stuck!

Please let me know what I can do? If it’s wise to wait a week for the statements and update it via the link they sent (in an original email saying to update them if our situation changes. Please note this link sent me to a generic HO details change route that was laborious, non specific and asked for documents I don’t yet have).

Any advice would be appreciated folks

Best,
